We take a broad view of wellbeing including mental and physical health, financial health, and social connection. We believe one of the best ways to support wellbeing is to build resilience.
The Resilience & Wellbeing Model is based on academic research in organisational psychology and personal wellbeing conducted by The Wellbeing Project.
The framework highlights how the four dimensions of wellbeing can be improved by addressing the five elements of resilience. We first used this model during the series of Everyday Resilience training sessions delivered as part of our Covid-19 response.
In Q4 2023, Jeff Davies (Exec Sponsor for Wellbeing) launched the Resilience & Wellbeing Model as part of our Resilience & Wellbeing Campaign. This simple communications and engagement campaign shared across L&G to draw focus to the practical ways to embed resilience.
The campaign's objective is to increase uptake of benefits and resources, whilst raising awareness of resilience and wellbeing in a way that links to our purpose, PVP, D&I agenda and evolving market conditions.
